World Bank (IFC) Investment Support

SocketWorks has been supported by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) since it was founded in 2002 by way of capacity-building and advisory support services through the African Project Development Facility (APDF). The IFC has since then deepened its support by becoming an institutional investor (convertible loan and equity investments in 2006 and 2007). Having successfully deployed the model in six African Countries, our current focus is now in Asia and Latin America.
